TAAC Aerospace Technologies was established in 2019 as a joint venture with TUSAŞ, driven by the vision of transferring Altınay Defense Technologies’ decades-long expertise in precision motion control, robotics, and mechatronic systems into the aerospace and space industries. By combining Altınay’s deep engineering legacy with the high-precision requirements of aviation standards, TAAC localizes critical subsystems where Türkiye has historically relied on foreign suppliers.
Shortly after its establishment, TAAC successfully delivered the HÜRJET Iron Bird test system, leveraging Altınay’s experience in test technologies. Today, TAAC develops proprietary Motion and Flight Control Systems, Landing Gear Systems, and Test Systems for strategic national platforms such as KAAN, GÖKBEY, and HÜRJET—often described as the “muscle systems” of aircraft.
